Texas State Fair

Every year of our marriage Jon and I would spend the 1st Friday (of the opening) at the state fair. We loved it... it was a tradition for us. We would go, pig out on all things fried and bad for us, spend an obscene amount of money on crap, and drive home at midnight with a stomach ache! What is more awesome than that????
So this year is no different. One of Jon's best friends Danny was in town visiting us so it was our family of 5, Danny, and our friends from church.
We had such a fun time, and so did the kids.
For those of you that know me, you know that Jon and I are major thrill seekers. we'll do and have done it all. Jumping out of an airplane, bungee jumping, swimming with sharks. We've done it all and we never pass up an opportunity to do it all again! SO..... there was this catapult thing at the fair this year. Supposedly you are shot (while being strapped to a little round cage) 300 feet in the air at 110 MPH. For me, I'm thinking no big deal but Danny was like a 5 year old... he was so excited about this thing he couldn't stand it!!! He doesn't regularly risk his life like this. So we did it... I will admit, I screamed BUT Danny screamed louder!!!!!
