Hey yall... we're about to leave for Haiti. We are scrambling trying to make sure everything is ready! I am so anxious about getting to see my little Jalon. I just can't wait. The kids have gotten him some gifts and we made him a photo ablbum of our family, grandparents, the house, dogs, cat, his school, the neighborhhod... ect. I am hoping this will help ease the transition once he gets here. I realize it will barley give him a glimpse of how his life will change but at least he will have a pictre to look at that will help. I will try to get on here while we are in Haiti.

- After 12 Amazing years of marriage, 2 Beautiful children, enough pets to open a petting zoo, building 5 Fantastic homes, stepping out in Faith and opening our own business in 2006, and our share of ups and downs... we're still here and still together. We are Stonger in our faith and in eachother. Deeper in our love and commitment to our Lord, to eachother, and to our family. Richer in wisdom and knowledge. And at the end of the day, we're still holding eachothers hand.

Jon is a Big Boy who loves to play especially with his toys!!! His motto is Work hard, Play even HARDER!!! He is a big kid who is fun to just be around. Always the life of the Party!!! It doesn't matter if it's water skiing on the lake, snow skiing in Colorado, riding our ATV's thru the mud in Oklahoma, planning our next great adventure, or just sitting at home watching movies. Jon is a Party waiting to happen. But for us, his friends and family... we know him as a man of God who extends Mercy, Grace, and Love to everyone he meets and in everything he does! He has a big heart for people and a burden for the lost. His passion is world missions... and that speaks volumes!!! Jon belives he is blessed to be a blessing and he lives that daily. He is our children's hero... He is my bestfriend, my lover, my soulmate, and the man I will spend my entire life walking beside hand in hand.

Don’t judge a book by its cover…Our beautiful Jen is more that what you see! Once you have the opportunity to see past the Shoes, Clothes, Purses, & Beauty. Jen is a woman after God's own heart! She is passionate about her Lord and raising up a family to love him and serve him. She has a heavy burden and obligation for the lost BUT most especially for families and the children in those families. Jennifier is intelligent, driven, articulate, & passionate which has made her successful at almost everything she set’s her mind to BUT it’s her loving, nurturing, compassionate and godly attributes that win your heart. She is an Amazing Wife & Mother, a counselor and advocate, a powerful speaker and a successful business woman. But don't let all that fool you; she's sassy, strong, and opinionated!!! She always says that the number 1 rule in our house is “if momma ain’t happy… nobody’s gonna be happy!” that says it ALL!!!
Jonathan (sweetpea)
Our baby Boy... Jonathan Robert. Jonathan is 9 years old will start the 4th grade this fall. He is a 1st draft Linebacker playing in **select** Football. This is his 3rd year and he has already been told he's got natural talent. He is a sweet little boy who has a tender heart for God's people. He is quick to pray for your needs, give to the needy, and love on anyone who needs it! Jonathan is our little miracle baby and we Thank God everyday that we have him here with us. He's Daddy's little linebacker BUT Momma's little sweetpea.
Jada~Faith (princess)
Our adorable Princess Jada~Faith is 7 going on 16. She will be starting in 2nd grade this year and is ready to run the school. This will be her 3rf year doing Cheerleading in the fall and she even got to do Dallas Cowboys Cheerleading camp this summer!!!! She is a total Daddy's girl but Momma's little mini-me!!! Jada is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She is becoming quite the little prayer warrior and loves to Sing praises to the Lord. She is the perfect mix of sweet and sassy!!!
Jalon Petersen
Jalon Peterson is our little boy from Haiti... we are in the process of trying to adopt him but the road has been a long hard one. We are excited to be going to see him in August... however, I don't know how I am going to be able to leave him once again! We love him very much and already feel like he is ours. We are waiting on God's timing for him to come home and become a part of our family!!
